Research shows that there is a stigma with diversity training in general, and there is no positive correlation between training/awareness and increased diversity in companies; in fact, sometimes it can actually have the opposite effect:“

The Make Some Room workshop is not a presentation in front of an audience. Instead, we rely on compelling first-person stories, the intimacy of an audio platform, and the physical space of our everyday workspaces to help foster empathy and create an unforgettable visceral experience. Our hope is that these heightened emotions will make the experience, and the learning, stick long after the workshop is over.
